Going with my 18 year old son in August. What hotel have you stayed at that was good? Looking for decent pool, clean, preferably a restaurant with breakfast that way we can eat before going to cruise.

The hotels closest to the port (less than a mile) that I would recommend are:

*Hampton Inn Cruise Port/Home2Suites

*Homewood Suites

*Springhill Suites

*Towneplace Suites

*Residence Inn

Will be in Home2Suites next weekend

We have used them our last four times with no issues.  Expensive nowadays like anything else.

We always drive down and have always stayed near the port.  Sadly the price in Canaveral for all hotels has gotten ridiculous.

Now we book early and stay in Titusville.   Rates are so much better (if you book early) and we are only 20 min to the port.

We sail Utopia in January 2025. I just booked the Holiday Inn Vacation Club.  It is so close, directly across the street from the Carnival terminal, the pool is fantastic and we love that it is on the beach. Last cruise from PC we watched our ship come in and turn the corner into the channel while sipping coffee on our deck. It added to the excitement of knowing we will soon be boarding.

Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral are right next to each other.  You would have no problem getting an Uber to the port anywhere in Cocoa Beach
