Princess Gift cards for OBC??

Has anyone used Princess Gift Cards for buying OBC before the cruise? I saw that you can buy OBC online but wasn’t sure I could use gift cards.

I do not know if you can do it online, but my last cruise I paid for it with gift cards and had money left over on the gift card, so I went to guest services and they applied what was left to OBC.

You cannot buy OBC online with gift cards.  Some have reported being able to buy with a phone call, but with all the horror stories about the support staff, I'm going to wait and use my gift cards on the ship.

Agreed. Safer to wait until you are on board. Be sure and take 2 copies of the printed page that shows both the GC number and PIN.

This. I did this on my TA back in November. Had both the email and a printed version of it to give to guest services to add on. If they are having no issues with the system it shouldn't take them long to add it to your folio. If the system is acting up you may need to leave it with them to add it to the folio but it will get done as this is what happened to us on that cruise.
