Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao excursions

Recommended Posts

We will be visiting these three ports in 2025 ( among others). It is time to book our excursions. Wondering if anybody has been to any of these ports recently and would recommend a particular excursion they enjoyed. We snorkeled many years ago when younger and loved it. We would do it again if it was snorkeling from a beach or not a long swim from a catamaran. Appreciate any suggestions.

Don’t do the De Palm island excursion in Aruba - we did it earlier this month and it was a horrible grotty place !

We book on Tuesday and De Palm was on my list. I think I'll reconsider.

By the way... since passengers "reserve" sunbeds around the pool with their hats and books, can seats at the pool bar be reserved too? Asking for a friend.

That’s all we need!

We have been to Aruba and Caracas many times most recently Dec 2022 on the Navigator. Aruba - we are aged out drivers so when we could no longer dive we rented a car explored the inland on our own…was fun stopped for a swim at a nice beach; did an Regent island tour…not bad; the Regent submarine ride was good. ( we have found that tour to be fun where ever it was offered around the world even for former divers.) Sometimes we see more than others (depends on sea conditions that day) but we always see something of interest.

Bonaire - first time there coming in April (not on Regent) and have rented a golf cart from a vender near the dock for the day $50, they provide a map to guide you and have an on line video to watch about the tour…not a big island and you can see it all easily in the 9-5 time frame with time for a swim if you want.

Caracas - did an island tour OK; rented a car and drove around the island…fun. Walked around town on our own ate on the waterfront and last time did Regents trolly tour which was really interesting and learned a lot about the downtown area.
