Cozumel Excursions Mystic River vs Amazing Secret River.

Hello, folks. 

 

I don't seem to be able to find a lot out there regarding these two excursions. 

 

Can anyone give me thoughts, opinions, etc regarding the Mystic River and Paradise Lagoon excursion vs the Amazing Secret River excursion please?

If you are meaning…Rio Secreto River & Caves, on the mainland near Playa del Carmen…

it was the absolute best excursion we have ever taken.  
In a heartbeat, we would go again & again!

Rio Secreto is just south of Playa Del Carmen. You’d be docking in Cozumel and taking the 45-minute ferry over to PDC.

 

Are you looking at a cruise line excursion?

Yes, I am. 

 

I'd much rather pay more and have the security of knowing that being a cruise line excursion the boat won't leave without me should something hit the fan, than save a few bucks and risk becoming a "Pier Runner," lol.

I understand f course. I ask only because we’ve shared our trusted taxi driver with many other visitors who all loved him. But being on a tight timeline you would probably have to go through with your fellow passengers anyway.

We did the Amazing Secret river excursion through RC a few years ago.  It was one of the best excursions ever, and very good value. Truly amazing.  We bought the pictures.  Lunch buffet was very good. It was a long day.  We booked on line early and got 10% off.
