Minors traveling with us

Recommended Posts

Hello, looking to see if anyone has encountered this before. We are sailing on the Jubilee this summer and have 3 cabins. Our party includes my wife and I, our three daughters, ages 24, 19 and 8 as well as one daughters 19 year old friend. We are wondering if we are able to book the 8 year old and the 24 year old into the same cabin. The 24 year old is active duty USAF, not sure if that matters or not. We are in a balconey cabin and the other two rooms are on the same deck and are connected rooms. It says on the Carnival site that minors need to be across the hall or next door to the parent/guardian. Not sure if the older daughter makes that point moot. Any advice is appreciated.

Carnival recognizes all active duty military as adults (in terms of occupying staterooms / but not alcohol under 21).

For example a 20 yr old active duty military individual could book a stateroom with their 19 yr old spouse for their honeymoon.
