Oct 10th on  a 9 day Alaska cruise on the Jewel. Spa pass is 229 dollars. Good or bad price. Just asking.

The price is what it is. Usually on the newer ships it’s 299 per week.

It is a decent price. The Thermal Suite passes on the new ships are $300 for a week. But, the Thermal Suite on the Jewel is a lot smaller. We have always purchased a pass when we're on the Jewel and her sister Jewel-class ships.

For me, the Jewel's thermal spa is a bit on the small side.  I always get the thermal spa pass when available, but for Alaska cruises you usually are at Port each day, and I don't spend much time in the spa.  

 

If you think you will be spending time on the ship a lot, and it's too cold when you are going to be outside, you might consider it.  My Alaska cruise was the only of my 9 cruises that I didn't use the thermal spa on (if one was available).
