Rare sns1 Posted March 7 #1 Share Posted March 7 After 32 cruises with Princess, this is a first for us. We are cruising out of Port Everglades. Embarkment is at pier 21, disembarkment will be pier 2. What have people done when it's two different piers? Is it safe to walk from pier to pier? We are walkers, so there are no physical issues for us. Is there a shuttle? Which parking garage is better to park in? Thanks in advance for suggestions and info. EatonDoolittle Posted March 7 #2 Share Posted March 7 This happens frequently, and they make it as easy for you as they can. My recommendation it to go to 21 first and drop luggage, and passenger, if you like. Then drive to 2, and park there. There will be a shuttle to take you back to 21 to board the ship. It is not walkable. Upon return from the cruise, your car will be right there, and off you go. Those who park by 21 will need to shuttle back from 2, adding another step to the already chaotic arrival day. Its not the best situation, but it's manageable, and should be no cause for stress. Side note, make your life easier and pay for parking when you exit the elevators in the parking garage, before you go to your car. Much quicker that way.
capriccio Posted March 8 #3 Share Posted March 8 If you haven't checked back on the responses on the Princess board, there are quite a few:
Rare sns1 Posted March 25 Author #4 Share Posted March 25 I wanted to report back that we used Parkbytheports and it was great. I don't think we will ever go back to parking right at the port. We find the port parking very confusing, even when we didn't have two different piers to deal with. The daily rate is also cheaper.
