Embarkation at Port of Miami arrival time

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone!  First time on RCI - sailing on Oasis of the Seas - Sunday April 14th out of Miami.  1 of our party (16yr old) has a 10:30am arrival time and the rest of us (3 adults) have 11am.  We (like many others!) want to get on board as soon as possible.  What time should we aim to arrive at the port?  We will be taking an Uber there...if arrive at 10am is that too early?  Just wondering if it is crazy at that first 10:30am boarding time.  We don't want to be standing around for an hour and battling crowds for boarding.  Thanks in advance!

I did oasis last march and missed the 10:30 am time so I too got 11 am. I arrived just around 10:30 and checked in and they pointed to a place to sit for 11 am but I'd guess i was only there about 10 minutes tops when they started calling us to board. It went fast to board. Lots of walking but i got on smooth and fast. Cant complain.

It seems that you understand that you get an "Arrival Time" to check in at the port. You do not get a boarding time.

We booked a last minute cruise two weeks ago and had a 1:30-2:00 arrival time. We showed up at Terminal A at 10:30 and, as fast as we could walk from the entrance to the gangway, we were onboard (no lines, no waiting, quick stop to check in and a quick stop at security).
