Ultra Casino Cruise Offers Are On The Way!

checked a couple of dates with logging into my offers.  A savings of $30-$50 per person on a guaranteed interior cabin versus the price I can get without logging into my offers, even with the freeplay offered is an absolute insult. When the offer says Up to $1250 off I expected more than the tiny amount that they actually gave me. I'll take a pass as others here have said and book my much better current offers.

Yes, I also found the discount for the room not as much as they said it would be from what I can book with the non-casino offer for a balcony room. Very disappointing. I guess the detail is in the “up to” part of the room discount.

I am booked on a premier Alaska cruise next May, 8 day on the Spirit.  with only one sea day and Tracy Arm Fjord day I am surprised this is a premier cruise.  Also, this is my first premier.  Anything I should look forward too?

I have a question for more experienced Casino Cruise Offer folks. We cruised on Carnival in September on a Casino match status with our land based casino. Since then we get weekly offers for free interior cabins with free drinks in the casino. Many of the offers have been tempting but the dates are inconvenient for us. Has anyone every reached out to Carnival and say you would like to go on a specific cruise offered but the week before or the week after would be better? Chances are probably slim to none but I just thought I would ask if any has tried this and succeeded.

I have not tried that approach but I doubt it will work.  The casino blocks out a specific number of rooms per cruise.  If you are not finding your offer on a specific cruise it is probably already booked full with casino offers.

no, the available sailings that you see online, are what's available for that specific casino offer.

Definitely doesn’t work due to casino offers having specific number of rooms blocked for that rate offer (as someone else has pointed out).  I’ve even been on a cruise that later becomes one with an offer, and have not been able to add//change the booking.  It’s not a flexible system.

I think if you get all the way up to Echo offers (huge $$ in the casino) you can pick whatever date you want to sail.

I looked at the Ultra offers and my Casino offers are better. The $200 free play versus $500 OBC and DOU for me versus DOU for me and my wife seems a bit weak. 😒

There is usually a welcome gift in your cabin.  They will send cookies or chocolate covered strawberries during the week.  There are special drawings in the casino also.

Agreed with others.  These offers seem like a joke; yet I don't find myself laughing.  🤔

Ultras are never super compelling.  The prizes are the hook.  We’ve taken many casino offers and have never taken an Ultra.

If it’s a straight financial decision, I think that is true, but I really did enjoy the social aspects of my last Ultra and would like to take another.  However, my current offer has not made me run right out to book one.

We just got off an Elite and it’s is more fun than just a regular casino offer.  More interaction with the hosts, other players and the drawings do make it enjoyable.

Yes—it’s like a big casino party! Lots of fun. Hard to describe to someone who hasn’t taken one of the casino event cruises.

We've done Premiere, Ultra and Elite cruises in the past, but generally ignore those offers these days because we like to actually play in the casino before 11pm. Cruises full of casino enthusiasts taking up every machine and table don't work for us. Plus we get other casino offers for non Premiere, Ultra or Elite cruises that are better deals if you don't take the Ultra big gift or the Elite room beverage and free parking into account, and we get to play in the casino during the day.

I have always noticed when I happen to be on an Elite, Ultra or Premiere cruise how many people are not in the casino at 11pm for the nightly drawing.  They will call several names sometimes before a winner is called.  By the way I spend to much time in the casino.

Seems like every cruise these days is one of the casino cruises so hard to avoid the crowds of the ultras, elites, or premier cruises even if you don’t book one and book under a different rate.

Our casino offers were WAY better price wise too…. but the mister is apparently very intrigued by this Ultra offer so Jubilee’ing we shall go next year 🤡

Not thrilled with the money he put out for it, but I guess it’ll be an adventure and looking forward to seeing what it’s like!

We passed on our Ultra offer. It was only discounted and Premier was the better deal with free cabin and 200 obc. Booked a premier instead.  We are playing more table games vs. slots and so our points are not as high as years ago.  Seems though most every cruise on Carnival is either a premier, ultra... Much more crowded than years ago.

Interesting thing - I just checked my casino offers again, and my 1/11/25 cruise on Magic is offering me an "Ultra offer" inside, but I had booked this under a "Premier offer" balcony months ago.  I. have never seen an Ultra and Premier crowd mixed on the same cruise.  Is this a new thing?

Same here. Same cruise. Did they offer for you to switch from premier to ultra or did you just see it in the offers?  My premier offer is much better than the ultra.

I just saw it.  I usually check my offers once a week, and there it was.  My Premier is also better than my Ultra - balcony v inside, DOUE v DOU in casino for myself and a companion.
