I anticipated forgetting a few things, I normally do. I just realized one thing already. I forgot my book to read. I don’t care for reading on electronics, I like to have a book in my hand. I hope there are some books in the library on ship, fingers crossed.

No library on the ship. 😞

We are in the middle of muster currently. In MSC their muster orocedure is everyone is to go back to their cabin and watch the muster info on the television. Once the video is completed there is a 3 digit number to call on the room phone confirming you watched the video. Then you head to your muster station to have your card scanned.
In addition to closing all venues for this process, the elevators are shut down. This process goes on until all logged as completing the process . As usual, there are those who have not yet completed.

That sucks for those who completed an hour ago because if your muster is on deck 5, there is no working elevator. So, you’re stepping it up to deck 13 and then back down to whatever other decks you want. Which is good for your health, yeah. But I’m on vacation and I’m tired of killing myself running up and down these stairs already!!

Sail away party starts now so I’m heading back up to 13. Followed by the solo cocktail meet up at 5:45p.

The WiFi is a bit sketchy…

After dinner last night I enjoyed the latte at their coffee station located inside the buffet area. Their pizza and their coffee is top notch, love it!

I attended the solo meet up they had posted. They set out chips and snacks and offered sparkling wine and fruit punch, it was very nice. This was held in the bar area on deck 6. The layout of this ship is very strange and is taking me a bit to navigate. Also, the elevators are super small.. they hold like 7 people tops.

After the meet and greet I attended the rock/damce show held in the Royal Theater. It’s not as good as the shows on Royal but it was nice and I enjoyed the dancers very much.

Then I spent a few hours in the casino…I won just enough to keep me there playing for the evening.

I got to bed about 12:30p and just got up this morning at 9a to find us pulling in to Ocean Cay. I plan to get off soon and hit the beach for some snorkeling.

Coming up on deck to get some shots of the beach. These pool chairs leave a lot to be desired. I’m afraid to sit in one.. lol.

I haven’t seen many children onboard and those I have seen are very well behaved.

The people on this ship are all very nice and respectful, it’s a very different clientele… I love it! The ages range from young adults to the older folks..evenly dispersed, not one age group more than the other. This is the number one thing I like most about this cruise, the people… no riff raff. No loud, screaming folks who have the “it’s my vacation so I’ll act a fool” mentality. It’s so chill.

The diversity is nice on here as well…lots of various languages being spoken amongst the cruisers. I’ve heard more than once..I’m sorry, my English is not good. It just takes patience as we all try to enjoy our holiday together.

This internet is driving me crazy… I’m currently at the Lighthouse Bar on Ocean Cay… I will post more pics later as the internet allows.

After a great day spent on the island, I came back and took a 2 hour nap! Lol

I just finished getting ready for Caribbean night. Lots to do tonight between music, dance party at 10:30 on the lido and a comedy show at 7:30p.

For the smokers: Winston cigarettes and Camel are $31/carton.

I’m off to get a latte at my favorite coffee shop and then see what they are offering at the buffet tonight. I am not an MDR kinda girl so it’s unlikely I will visit the restaurant on this cruise.

Also, there’s a music and lights show planned for this evening on the island that involves the lighthouse. I can’t wait to see that.

One negative about the island I hope they fix soon is they have NO benches placed along the walking paths at all…NONE. I walked darn near the whole island today in one big loop. Not having a place to take a break and rest was terrible.

Every time I think of something I forgot I wanted to say, I jump back on…

On decks 6 and 7, it reminds me of Royal Caribbean’s promenades. There are bars and lounge areas all along those 2 decks. They have a lot of small bands and singers doing lives on this ship…and they’re pretty good too!
I love walking along those 2 decks.

For the smokers: There’s a smoking lounge on deck 7, The Cigar Lounge. It also has a bar inside that opens at 7pm. Also, outside on deck 7 along the starboard side is smoking.

Dinner in the buffet tonight… everything is lukewarm warm, at best. The chicken parm is good and so is the todor thigh.

The pizza is always hot and delicious!

The coffee mousse was delicious!
