Regal Princess Azores docking at 8:00

Can I make it to an 8:30 non-cruise ship tour? The tour meet is 3 min from dock and check in is at 8:30 and boarding is 10 min later.

On our Regal TA last fall, we were supposed to get to the Azores in the morning but didn't get there until after dark.  If the ship is on time, you might make it.  It is a walk from the ship up to the main road out of the terminal though.

Do you know if most of the other people on the tour are from your ship?  In that case, the tour is highly unlikely to leave anyone behind if everyone is disembarking at approximately the same time.

 

Confirm with your tour vendor if the ship's arrival is late or the port is bypassed entirely, how are refunds handled. We use non-ship tours almost exclusively and one of my requirements for any advance payment is that cancellations due to late or no arrival be refundable.

We were on that cruise, the only reason we stopped was to reprovision. The port area got over run very quickly.
