HX (Hurtigruten Expeditions) going all-inclusive

Hurtigruten will adopt all-inclusive pricing for expedition cruises

We have done expedition cruises with Hurtigruten (prior to re naming as HX). 
We had an email from HX announcing this.

AlI can see that wasn’t included before is unlimited drinks and tea and coffee. Am I missing something?

We were on the Roald Amundsen in January and we got wine and beer at both lunch and dinner. There was also a 24/7 coffee and tea station. Maybe not all ships offered this but now do?

I guess that I am missing something too?  We only paid for a couple of drinks out of meal time and other than that, everything was included.  We did not find anything else to have to pay for on the ship.

 

Marketing strategy perhaps?

 

We got all the below and this was two years ago.

 

Pricing will include wine, beer, cocktails and spirits; meals, coffee, tea and soft drinks; Wi-Fi; gratuities; daily expeditions like hikes and community visits; science-led activities on and off the ship; access to the sauna, hot tubs and fitness room; professional photographs; an expedition jacket to take home; and a reusable water bottle.

As far as I could see it, the differences are small. From October 2024 on, most drinks in the afternoon and evening are included i.e. not only during meals, you'll get a pullover etc. besides your expedition jacket etc.

On the other hand I found the prices hiked up in relation to 2023/24....
