Carnival Gift Cards

I have gift cards that I want to use to pay for part of our cruise. I can enter each card and it says “accepted” but then it insists I pay off the balance. Can I not use gift cards for partial payment now and pay the balance at a later date?

Scroll down on the payment screen and there should be an Other Amount section. Input the amount you are paying with the gift cards and click Select.
