suzyluvs2cruise Posted March 26 #1 Share Posted March 26 We're currently on the 15nt RT Hawaii cruise on Discovery. Last night we enjoyed the Super Tuscan Wine Pairing Dinner in Sabatinis. It was a wonderful experience and we felt a good value at $80pp. 5
Astro Flyer Posted March 26 #2 Share Posted March 26 Thanks…we’ll be sailing on Discovery soon…how did you learn about it? From your waitstaff? Would you know if a Winemakers Dinner is available? I’ve enjoyed the $45 Silverado version in the Wine Cellar numerous times but recent reports from Discovery state only the $140 Caymus version was offered in the Crown Grill. We found out about the Super Tuscan Dinner from the Sommelier but also saw roving crew selling it, the Caymus Winemaker Dinner and a couple of wine tastings. We're told the Super Tuscan Dinner is only offered occasionally and on sailings longer than 10 days whereas the Caymus Dinner is offered on 7 nt + sailings

How is the wine selection at other venues and availability on the Plus or Premier packages. Any Caymus, Rombauer, Ferrari Carano? Other favorites etc? Thanks again and enjoy the remainder of your cruise.

Haven't seen Rombauer or Ferrari Carano by the glass but, in addition to those in the photo we've enjoyed Seghesio Zinfandel and Flowers Chardonnay with Premier pkg. W/Premier pkg Caymus is $8/glass + gratuity and was available in Crown Grill and Salty Dog pub. Another plus is with Premier your wine is served is a bigger, nicer glass. 1
