Champagne tasting

Has anyone participated on the Moet champagne tasting offered by Royal? Would you recommend it? Do they serve also canapés with the champagne?

@travelberlin  I participated in the Moet & Chandon Champagne tasting on Symphony in fall of 2022. We tasted 3 Champagnes. The only addition was a bottle of water - no food. 
 

If you enjoy champagne and are okay with the price it can be a pleasant way to pass an hour. The quality of the event strongly depends on the presenter.

Did it last month on Oasis. Had a lot of fun, three tastes, plus a bonus. We had a small plate with cheese, strawberry, and chocolate to pair with the wine. Surprised I didn’t take a photo, but got this one of the flutes. I will probably do it again.

The one on Oasis was not, the bartenders in Vintages were pushing it during the week.

The champagne tasting (along with several other wine tastings) are listed in the app.

Was this the amount of champagne they were serving for the tasting in each glass?

No, I started drinking before I thought to take a photo!  They had us drink half of each, then revisit with the food. 
 

I don’t think I’d started in the glass to the right…

Thanks for the swift reply.  I didn't see it offered ( pre cruise )  for an upcoming cruise. I'll look once on board.
