HikaruTsuki Posted April 5 #3 Share Posted April 5 (edited) They are heated, but not much, and the pools are frequently drained and refilled with unheated water. So with those factors in mind, be prepared for inconsistent water temperatures. Sometimes it's comfortable and awesome, and sometimes men become women. WYB! Posted April 5 #4 Share Posted April 5 My theory is pools are kept on the cool side in order to control the number of people using the pools. This is not just for princess ships but for all cruise lines. Safe travels, - WYB
bobpell Posted April 5 #5 Share Posted April 5 The Terrace pool on both Ruby and Emerald within the last 10 months were freezing. Both pools had nets over them for 1 day as chemicals were added. the nearest washrooms were by the aft elevators!! Get my drift Bob
skynight Posted April 5 #6 Share Posted April 5 Sailed on the Ruby a few weeks ago. Main lido deck pools were not warm. Hot tubs were around 100 degrees. I would expect the same for a Hawaii sailing. As mentioned I did see the pools drained and refilled.
