Retreat Guests & Embarkation

 Share

Recommended Posts

It has been awhile since our last cruise with Celebrity.

We just did our check in for an upcoming cruise and were assigned

a late check-in time.

We are staying in a Retreat cabin. We thought we go to the port (Ft Lauderdale)

at 11am - which is now several hours before our assigned check in time.

Has Celebrity been sticking to the assigned check in times? Should we reach out to

Celebrity to get our time changed or just show up when we choose?

Suite guests can board at any time. The app requirement to select a boarding time doesn’t differentiate between between Retreat and non Retreat guests.

you can get on starting about 11 am. There is a small waiting area for Retreat guests that is worth 20 minutes or so.  Depending on your parking situation, I would arrive at 1030 at the terminal, go to the lounge eat some food and check in. At 11 you can board.

Agree with the above posters. It’s too bad Celebrity IT can’t differentiate suite versus non suite.  I always check the latest check in time when travelling in a suite so that others may get the earlier times.

Boarding times are assigned to everyone to facilitate boarding. Suite and Zenith have their own line to check in at, but there are expected to arrive at their assigned arrival time. They are not turned away if the arrive early only because they whine, " Do you know who I am?"

If they were permitted to arrive at their leisure it would be stated as such and arrival times would not be assigned to them.

There are lots of complaints on social media about the line ups, chaos, confusion and congestion at the terminal on boarding day. Most of it is caused by those of us not adhering to our arrival time.

So if your arrive time is 1PM and you are in the crowed terminal at 1030.....You don't have the right to complain.
