How many days in Kuala Lumpur vs Bali

I have a flight connection in Kuala Lumpur that enables me to split my time between Kuala Lumpur and Bali.  It probably isn't a fair request as the two locations are so different.  I have a total of 7 days.  How would you split the time between both spots or would you simply skip the city and spend time on Bali?  Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions.

We found KL very disappointing - we found little other than the Petronas Towers - and even they have been surpassed by even more extraordinary skyscrapers elsewhere in the world.

We rate it worth no more than a single day.

Been to Bali a couple of times - well-worthwhile, and not just for a beach break.

All in reach of each-other in the south of the island..........

Ubud is a series of closely-knit villages, each with their own speciality craft - woodworking, stone, paintings, etc. And a monkey sanctuary where you can walk amongst them.

Pura Luhur Uluwatu is a temple high on a cliff with a sunset show of traditional fire-dance etc in an open semi-circular amphitheatre with the sea in the background.

Pura Tanah Lot is a unique temple on a little islet.

Both of those temples are on the west coast.

Toward the east coast, in Semarang, a lot of interesting old buildings like Klungkung Royal Palace.

Or up-country in the middle of the island Mt Batur.

Plenty on Bali to fill your time, and all good value

Thanks, this is the kind of commentary I wanted to hear.  KL really hasn't been at the top of my list, but it became a necessary stop as part of a longer journey.

Yes, I have seen many good things regarding Bali.  I think we will focus most of our attention their and make a simple overnight stop in KL before moving on to our next destination.
