Gold Rock Beach

Has anyone taken a tour not offered by cruise line to Gold Rock Beach? Or taken just a taxi to Gold Rock Beach? Want to go just to beach have read the caves are not that great

We rented a car and went there, the caves then to Paradise to snorkel.  There is really nothing vendor wise at the beach but it is beautiful.  You absolutely do not need a tour.
