56 meters high. Tallest bridge in Caribbean.
1st was built in the 60’s. This is the 2nd one completed in 1974

That's the Queen Juliana bridge. The pontoon bridge is the Queen Emma. 😎

Problem now is you can’t cross the bridge. Glad I’m not going to a 12:30. Even if I left the tour early it may not have mattered. Plan accordingly.

There is a free ferry that can take you to the other side if the pontoon bridge is open. 😎

Greg great review.

Have a question about the Free Walking Tour in Curacao.  What is the pace of the walk?

We originally planned to take a taxi to the Old World Market and walk back to the ship.  Allowing us to walk at a slower pace and take breaks as needed.  But seems much of where we planned to stop and look, is covered during the Free Walking Tour.

But it surely sounds like the guide provides plenty of information that has us now considering doing the Free Walking Tour.

Thanks.

It’s not fast paced. We sat in the picnic area for about 20 mins. We sat in that restaurant and talked for 10 mins. We were in the lion fish place for awhile. All the stores were 5-10 mins. People fell behind but he would always wait for everyone to catch up.
