Diamond/Sapphire Wheelhouse Bar-noisy or just a single musician?

We have cabin E324 (for the fairly unobstructed view) directly above the "band" area of the Wheelhouse bar. We'll change it if there are typically rock bands playing, etc. But, it think it's usually just a single musician/guitar or 2 person Irish group, etc. That's what it was on the Royal last month. Can anyone report on Wheelhouse music or that cabin? Thanks, Elaine

When we were on Diamond last November it varied - sometimes a single musician, sometimes 2-3 musicians, and once some of the show band members played jazz.

Note: the Wheelhouse Bar on Diamond is much larger than on Royal and is often used for dancing later in the evening.

What post #2 said. Usually this lounge is used in the evening for ballroom type dance music by two or three musicians. The party band seldom if ever performs there. There is a dance floor for ballroom type dancing. There can be other musical groups that will perform on a one time bases. With musical groups it is the bass that carries. The groups may use a real bass player, or they might use recorded background tracks. It all depends on the group. During the day the lounge is used for daytime activities.

We just left a 32 day cruise on the Sapphire.  No more than two musicians played there that we saw and we hung out there every night.  There was a guitar player, a guitar and violinist and someone who played a piano.

thank you.  based upon above, we'll keep our cabin (which has a very good view for being "obstructed"). and evening ballroom dancing sounds delightful.

I had read some (much older) cabin reviews stating that rock bands with bass kept them up until 1am! As long as things (even rock bands) die down by 11pm, we'll be fine.
