Great time on the Grandeur

Just got off a 5 day on GOS.  Since I planned the cruise for my sister & her BFF, I was overly concerned about all the negative comments that I found her.  Yes, the ship is small and old.  However, we had the best time ever.  The ship was clean & the customer service was great.  We ate most of our meals in the MDR & found the food to be tasty. If you are a gambler, this is the ship to sail on!!!  The casino was always packed and EVERYONE was winning.  Sadly, the smoking might be a deal breaker for some.  Keep an open mind when you go & enjoy this charming little ship before they are gone.

Totally awesome you enjoyed this cruise and the cruise experience. There is a lot to be said for the smaller ships and the amenities they offer… The most important thing is it was, memorable and a great experience for you. Take care …

It's nice to see an upbeat post about a smaller ship. My last cruise was the Vision and I had a very positive experience on her as well.

 

Next up for me is the Enchantment before I go back to the big ships.

 

I find that every class of ship has something to offer and I relish the variety by switching it up.

@3red7s So glad to see a current great review for Lady G.  I was on her 2 years ago, had a great time and absolutely loved her.  

 

As for reviews, I try and take them with a grain of salt and have never been disappointed in a Royal ship/crew.
