Cheesehead123 Posted May 22 #1 Share Posted May 22 Hi! It has been a long timed since we sailed. Excited to be cruising again but have so many questions. It appears that now we are able to purchase shore excursions in advance. Does princess immediately charge your credit card or wait until you are on board? What happens if you cancel? Also same questions with specialty venues for dinner. Looking at the 360 dinner but concerned if I need to cancel I won’t be able to get a refund but I don’t want to miss it by it selling out. Appreciate anybody’s input thanks!

We prepurchased excursions, then cancelled on the ship. So the money became OBC. The unused portion came back in the form of a check in a very plain looking envelope, 15 days post cruise. Be aware the envelope could easily have been mistaken for junk mail. Perhaps if we had cancelled pre-cruise it would have gone back to the card. Yes, I was talking about cancelling pre-cruise. 8 minutes ago, mtnesterz said: They might do things differently in different countries. Yes, I forgot. We get unused refundable OBC back via bank transfer. No checks here.
JF - retired RRT Posted May 22 #5 Share Posted May 22 Also, if you have any OBC...it can be applied to your excursions pre-cruise (assuming it shows in your Captain Circle account).
Kay S Posted May 22 #6 Share Posted May 22 Is the 360 dinner by invitation only?

If you cancel atleast 5 days before your cruise it will be refunded to your credit card. Approximately 5 days before the cruise the control transfers to the ship At that point one cannot cancel until they are onboard. Onboard the refund is given as refundable OBC. But now it is available to anyone as a specialty dining option for the cost of $149. It's a great experience and well worth doing at least once IMO. No invitation I don’t think you can apply a premier package freebie to the 360. It should be shown as experiential dining as it cost much more than places like the Crown Grille
