[Live]CruiseBOT: Celebration Carribean 5/26/24-6/2/24

Recommended Posts

Came back to the room to brush my teeth and relax a bit before the 3pm “high limit” slot pull.

found my first towel animal of the trip.

i met my attendant yesterday right away; Putra; he’s a nice guy

He gave me a strange look when I said it’s just me in the room.(just like my first solo cruise in February. Yes; I have no friends or family; it’s just me. I could think of no better value when I’m “forced” to WFH this week..than being on a “free” cruise. Like I said earlier; it means I don’t have to cook or wash dishes for a week!)

So the “high limit” pull was a bust..only the person running (and me) showed up…apparently one of two things

1.) $100 to put into a group pull is tooooooo much maaaaney.

2.) After Day1, people lose their MINDS and can’t remember they signed up. (Good ole booze brain)

I’m having a quick snack, since Teppenyaki isn’t till 7:15

Took me a little nap for a couple hours.

Time to get up and around and get some damn teppenyaki!

I think after dinner (my ressie is at 7:15) I’ll go to some comedy in the Punchliner at 8:45, then see the late-night Love & Marriage show at 9:45.

Then it’ll be time for siesta, to wake up and go to Grand Turk!

If I didn’t care anything about the casino “offers” I could actually just “wash” the money through an earn $1000 on my $10,000 investment. (Which, depending on what my final tally is at the end; I may do from now on)

The casino knows that trick. You usually have to still play some.

You can go over $2000/day in gift cards, but Guest Services has to contact Miami. Usually just a formality and within hours it is approved.

Sorry, you’re right

50cents per $1000 🙂

I think this is the first time I didn’t order the filet at Teppenyaki; I instead did Lobster and Black Cod (trying to eat less of the red meat)

lol; all the rest of the people at my “table” are couples (and a father/daughter)

they’re probably like “who is this butthole; in that he’s a loner”

Haha I actually just noticed the other two “tables” are active and talking..mine is DEAD silent..I think I’m honestly making everyone uncomfortable; because NO one is talking to their partner..
I think it’s my shifty eyes

Either that or they are all fighting. Put on your shades and enjoy your evening

I guarantee you're the only one thinking anything of the fact that you're alone.

I know. I’m definitely on the spectrum so it’s just my odd ass brain to think something like that.

Just be you and enjoy your time and everyone else will pick up on that vibe.  When you download your $2k to a machine do you just play that one machine 800 pulls at $2.5 per pull or do you move around?  Once you hit 800 pulls do you cash out and then get your money from the casino kiosk?  I am really curious how this works out for you.  Good Luck!

I give off a weird vibe; because I’m socially ackward.

i guess it honestly makes no difference; but so far I’ve bounced around machines.

yes; I actually “fast play” until I see 800 points on the screen; then cash out..walk over to the kiosk and cash out whatever I have; although going forward I don’t think I’ll “fast play”; because I’m 99% sure ToD is also taken into consideration (Time On Device)

but I just HATE that my clothes smell like an absolute ashtray after being in the casino.

Love&Marriage was “meh”.

Time for siesta..gotta wake up at 6:45am so I can get breakfast before heading out to HomeSweetHome excursion at 9. (Maaan; I wake up at 6am to fight a 150-minute commute…waking up at 6:45 is for the birds!)
