Restrictions on types of Wine for embarkation allowance

Recommended Posts

I know Carnival specifically prohibited fortified wines and has recently clarified that to specifically include "* Port, Vermouth, Sherry and other fortified wines cannot be brought on board."

Does Celebrity have any similar restrictions?  I can't find any on their website.  We have a package but I was thinking about bringing a bottle of 40 year port for my birthday and I would hate to have it taken.

Celebrity only states that you can bring wine on board, but it doesn’t say anything about what kind such as port, fortified, etc. If they take it and it’s unopened, you will get it back at the end of the cruise. If it’s opened, they will keep it. I really doubt they will say anything.
