I was pleased that the cheese plate was not the pathetic plate served on the Carnival Glory the previous month. Or maybe it was just the shape of the cheeses?

The highlight of Mosta is the Rotunda of Mosta, or Mosta Dome. It is known for surviving an aerial bomb during WWII that hit during Mass, but failed to explode. A miracle. Design based on the Pantheon, it is the 3rd largest unsupported dome in the world.

Onto Rabat and Mdina. The two cities adjoin each other. We exited the bus at one and walked to the other before being picked up. One of the highlights of Rabat are St Paul's Catacombs.
