They may run out of more popular items, so we shop before going to the terminal. You can also shop in every port.

They may be cracking down on that shop in every port thing... Will see again tomorrow...

Everything is resolved. The internet was never down as mentioned. Neither were toilets. Or the casino. Carry on.

We even made it to Messina EARLY.

Really. Waiting to see if that was a Malta thing or if it sticks

Keep us updated.  Boarding in Barcelona was the same as usual?

No issues at embarkation. Liquor store in the terminal was opening you didn't get before.

Liquor collection tables set up in Messina and yes they were staffed. What I don't know is if it is an honor system or not. I don't hear the scanners yelling liquor. If I have an abundance of energy, maybe I'll buy a bottle to throw away and test the system.

I'm any event, I think the handwriting is on the wall.

Thanks.  While we have rarely brought on (been a LONG time) it is somewhat disturbing, agree with the handwriting on the wall.  For us, it is more of buying a bottle of wine or two.

Someone on bookface said they carried on beer. Others complaining about liquor collection. Not sure we have hit wine country yet. I wonder if it will depend on how many wine tours Carnival sells? Of course, many wineries will ship these days.

any pics of updated staterooms?

Not really. Our stateroom wasn't standard to begin with, and they totally transformed (unknown to us) it into something else and I'm not sure how much would be applicable.

There are certainly USB outlets. I think the refrigerators might have been replaced - ours certainly was - still has the paperwork in it.

I don't know that I will have access to other cabins like I have sometimes had in the past. We'll see.
