Had lunch outside on pool deck.  Nice spread of chicken, pasta salad, salads, cheese, breads, vegetables and fruit  a cheeseburger or hotdog if you want.  Very satisfying.  Currently some of the kids in YC are trying to feed seagulls as we are still near OC.

Looks like the gulls are swimming in the pool.

Photo is upside down.  Pull it down and flip it over.  Pretty cool photo!

Damn sun (and maybe 2 spicy Bloody Marys) made me stand on my head to take picture.  I was quite the hit at the pool.

Bet you were glad you had you DD along as a chaperone.

Unfortunately our Nassau pig excursion was canceled by vendor.  First he claimed weather then admitted the others coming from a hotel were in a bachelorette party and wanted to start at noon.  So DD and I said let's just do a ship excursion which we really didn't want but times for other pig vendors either start too late or are full.  We chose the Pearl island sunken statue snorkeling and beach day with lunch.  I know the snorkeling is decent here so I don't mind, we don't care if food is lousy as we will just eat a big breakfast, and we do get a chair.  We thought about staying onboard but we are there.  Why not enjoy?

She didn't want to do Atlantis and doesn't like day passes in Bahamas because she hates vendors pestering her.  So this was fine.  I already told her to see pigs, it's best to go to Eleuthera or to Exuma.

So, are there interlopers in YC?  On this sailing, I would say no as it's tough to get in at 18 and 19.  Front desk is at 16 and they look at everyone who comes in.  I hope.  The side exits on 18 and 19 have had some issues as well.  Deck 20 on the pool deck looked ok.

I forgot to add yesterday we did notice people trying to get into the YC beach area and getting mad.  The shuttle driver told us the YC passengers and him have been spit on and had drinks thrown at them.  People were calling us the rich people yesterday.  😒

We were talking with parents and kids yesterday and today about the kids club.  They really love it on MSC.  My daughter was envious of their activities.  She said where was this when I was little on cruises?

Found out a person tried to board and was denied with the hospital footprint certificate only, not the birth certificate and no other ID.  😑  New one for me.

Now how did that come up in conversation? Were you spat on? Or had a drink thrown at you ?

Could this be a consequence of MSC's pricing policies ? That low pricing attracts societies lowest common denominator?

I asked the driver if he ever had issues with non YC trying to get on shuttle, getting mad and he shared this info.  We were shocked people would do this.  I truthfully never heard this or read this before.

Since we have so many kids in YC, the snacks at TSL are non existent except for nuts, prunes and scones.  Today we walked down to see what they offered multiple times and basically the Maryjanes and Apples in the Halloween pillow case after trick or treating.  Or the white jelly beans in Easter basket.

My daughter witnessed a group of kids dumping all of the chips and cookies in a shopping bag from the shops earlier.  A la Fagens boys from Oliver.

And I thought I was observant. You two should get a prize.

That is because polite society on social media 'cannot handle the truth'. And the deniers reign supreme.

Funny part is we aren't even trying.  Right place at right time?  Or wrong time?

We are getting ready for a busy night.  Dinner, show, white night party, MAYBE casino (for her, I'm not a casino gal), dancing.  Should be fun night!

Sounds like the two of you are having a great mother-daughter vacation / cruise.  Glad you are sharing your adventures with us.

Did address lack of alcohol selection in cabin, no daily snacks in room, no bottle for being Diamond.  Also will be addressing another issue.  The concierge out of the blue said oh this is your daughter's graduation present?  Let's arrange a special cake for her at dinner on the 3rd.  We went to dinner tonight and nothing.  Happy birthday was sung to someone.  My daughter knew and was like WTH?  Honestly we were going to Hola Taco and only didn't go because YC said not to.  It wasn't the cake.  We even asked and got blank stares.

Edited to add DD does not want to draw attention as we really have 1 more day and are having a great time.  Only thing driving us nuts is the doors to YC.  Everything has been great.  These are all minor things that do not make this a bad cruise.

"You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into... the Twilight Zone."

P.S. The two of you are both too young to remember....I hope you both make it back.
