lovesthebeach2 Posted June 4 #26 Share Posted June 4 I wouldn’t call that number, then they will have YOUR phone number.

I have a throwaway house number (Voice Over Internet, very cheap) that I give to parties that demand a number but I do not want them to call me. THAT would be the phone I use for this type of call so calling it back or adding it to a database would be useless. If they do not leave a voicemail, I ignore them. Anyone or thing of importance in my life has my cell phone number and private internet address (one of three so I can separate them also). If they need them. If I do not know the number calling, I wait for voicemail. I block the hangups and add legitimate calls as necessary. I get at most, one scam call a day. MUCH better than multiple calls in the past. Carlos A. Posted June 4 #30 Share Posted June 4 They somehow list their number for a quick Google search result. For example, if you're looking for Delta Airlines phone, this number or a similar one probably will be the first one that shows on the list. I don't know how they do this but they are scamming people with airline, hotel, cruise and other kind of reservations. Always get te number from the official page, not from google.

Have you tried to download any apps lately from the Playstore (Android)? I wanted to download Priceline and Expedia pops up first. Try to download Macy's and H&M comes up first. We have to get away from clicking the first thing and really looking.
