Nightowl11 Posted June 4 #1 Share Posted June 4 (edited) Has anyone done a back to back Northbound to Southbound on the Summit this year? What time is All Aboard for the cruisers that are back to back that leave the ship to go on an excursion? The ship leaves at 8:00pm. Does anyone have a picture of the letter and instructions for back to backs? Edited June 4 by Nightowl11
Northern Aurora Posted June 5 #2 Share Posted June 5 I suspect your turnaround day will be no different than the standard procedure. If the ship leaves at 8 PM then expect to be onboard 90 minutes before departure.
doghog Posted June 5 #3 Share Posted June 5 You will receive a letter in your stateroom a day or two prior to your TAD with all the details for your specific TAD. Also a day or two prior to your TAD there will be a TAD meeting for all B2B cruisers. I suggest attending as this meeting will be specific to your TAD. janabellev2.0 Posted June 6 #4 Share Posted June 6 @Nightowl11 I finally found my letter, but don't know how to attach a picture. All-aboard on turn-around day in Seward is at 7pm for an 8pm departure. If you're going ashore, they ask that you depart prior to 9:30am, with re-boarding no earlier than 11:30 (or whenever the ship is fully cleared and ready to receive guests). This was for the 5/17/24 turn-around in Seward, but I can't imagine that it will change much. As suggested, go to the meeting the day prior to Seward and they will answer any additional questions. LeeW Posted June 7 #5 Share Posted June 7 Several local companies have boat tours that work well. About 20 minutes to walk over to their docks. We enjoyed the Kenai Fjord tour on turnaround: https://www.alaskacollection.com/day-tours/kenai-fjords-tours/?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Kenai-Fjords-Tours-Booking-Con&utm_source=Envoke-Envoke#openseason=false
SbbquilterUT Posted June 8 #6 Share Posted June 8 Just finished that trip - plenty of time for an independent Kenai boat excursion. The ship did have one offered for people with very later planes - that group went o to the airport and B2B went back to the ship.
