Cost is $5 cash or $4.50 if you buy tokens. Children 5-15 is $2.75 cash. The ferry schedule has all the times. http://www.marops.bm/Documents/Ferry/Summer Ferry Schedule 2024.pdf

Rare 1025cruise Posted June 9 #5 Share Posted June 9 If you are only there for a single day, I would suggest skipping St George and just do Hamilton.
trivia addict Posted June 16 #6 Share Posted June 16 How old are the little ones? We are just now disembarking the Norwegian Joy after a week in Bermuda, which we have visited several times. I agree with the poster above who advises skipping St George if you are only there for one day. It is too far to do comfortably. But why would you want to take little ones into Hamilton? Its attraction is mostly shopping. With little ones, I would grab a shuttle off from the boat and visit one of the beautiful nearby beaches.

trivia addict Posted June 16 #8 Share Posted June 16 Oh, they are little! Not sure then if a beach would be the best idea either. Hopefully some others will have some good ideas for you! Whatever you do, enjoy your trip!

Or do they just take american dollars?

Or do they just take american dollars? They take US dollars. Bermuda currency is pegged to the US dollar. So 1 BMD =1USD. They take USD everywhere in Bermuda. You should get some USD to use in Bermuda as Bermudian currency is not exchangeable. Any BMD can only be used in Bermuda. If you get USD you will be able to exchange it if you have any left over when you get home to Canada. You can use credit cards for most things like at restaurants and stores. bambiying Posted July 19 #11 Share Posted July 19 You could take the ferry to Hamilton, walk up the hill to the bus station and take the 10 or 11 bus to the aquarium and zoo. I think that might be one of your best options with little kids. They would really enjoy it.
