Just chatted with an old school NCL cruiser about the greatness of the
Norway. As someone who started there right before the accident, boy do I get it

The Norway was the first ship I sailed on in 1980. I found my picture from boarding and was all dressed. Amazing how things have changed.

Ya ever get a lil' loopy on sail away day and then spouse/significant other keeps giving you the side eye?

Yeah, me neither!!

Why?  You’re not driving, go for it!

For your convenience. 🙂 Although with this one, I believe you get white glove service and a special glass to drink your half ounce from. #hoitytoity

Half ounce?  That's for the peons down in steerage.  True aficionados only consume two ounces of Louie. 😁

Nice!  We cruised with DD on Jade and Pearl when she was 4 and 5 - she called that area the "Adult Club".

The premium upgrade made my cruise back in Feb 2020

There are only a handful of liquors I'd drink over the 15, so I can settle for other brands.  Not having the water and espresso based coffees does stink.  Only 2 of my current 14 booked cruises are on NCL, so I'll be OK.

Update from the B POV part 2:

Thoughts, comments, highlights…

- I like Norwegian so far! This is my first non- Carnival cruise. Spinnaker is great. The area at the back is awesome. The pools are big. And Bar City is fun.

- Highlights of today included the sunset sail away, the sleep chamber’s bed, my pizza dinner, sit down lunch, and the server who REALLY did not want Party P to leave the dining room for some reason and kept trying to entice us with more food and drinks. 😂🤷🏻‍♀️

- The Diet Coke on this ship is definitely Coke Zero, but I can’t complain! I’m just SO happy they have Coke products. Huge win for NCL. Team DC forever. 🫶🏻

I was home and in bed with my kindle by 10:30, but I passed out before reading a word. OOPSIE. 👵🏻 Night, y’all!

I was lucky enough to sail on the Norway in 1991. Great experience. Tendered at every port including San Juan and St. Thomas.😎

Gotta be a female thing.  I've always enjoyed Zero ever since it came out.  My DW likes Diet, but will now drink zero if given the option.  If there's no zero, it's either fresh brewed tea or ice water with lime for me.  Hate the Diet Coke aftertaste.

You're married?

"Order Up" 3 hours ago and nothing since.  I hope this means he won a jackpot and they're still taking pics of him with the giant check, not that he fell asleep on the barstool.
