We just left there!!! Unfortunately a new city ordinance passed very recently has forced the closure and removal of the bar - but people can bring their own drinks

Wow.  Unfortunate.  But at least you saw it.

It wasn't the fanciest - wine served in plastic cups, but we didn't care.

Can't wait to hear about your guys next stop!!

Tavulin Bistro looks like foodie food!  Octopus looks fresh-caught!  That's parma ham, not prosciutto, right?  I see it's recognized by Michelin.  On TA it's #60 of 353 restaurants in Dubrovnik - sometimes these hidden gems outshine the top ten in my experience.  Buon Appetito!

Looks like one of those truly memorable food tours that outshine most.  You kind of melted into the day, yes?  So happy for you and B.  Thanks for sharing Dubrovnik, you elevated its' standing in my "must visit" places and that food tour looks like a must for me.  Is Dubrovnik small enough that you feel you got a good "walking tour" with summary of the city?  Or is it a big enough place you suggest a HOHO bus?  I noticed the beautiful, ancient yet clean walkways along with the charming architecture.  And the food!

Made it to the gates of Old Town. Cell service is at a crawl, bear with me. It’s packed down here, that could be it

Honestly, any sort of vehicle would be almost a hindrance in the old town where all the great restaurants are. It’s an exceptionally walkable town. You just need a vehicle to get to and from old town
