Luggage Direct at Port Everglades?

Does a Celebrity ship using Port Everglades offer Luggage Direct whereby the checked luggage is taken directly to Ft. Lauderdale Airport, so we don't have to look for our suitcases during disembarkation?

Luggage direct is a different thing. I think that’s what it’s called on Holland America. What you are asking about on Celebrity is called luggage valet. And yes it is offered in Fort Lauderdale.

Hey FBrew Thanks for the info!!  We are flying with Southwest Air which has no baggage fees.

It’s not offered on every cruise because it wasn’t in the 3 and 4 nights we just did on Reflection. I assumed there wouldn’t be much demand, although it would have been nice for those of us who flew in. Its probably only offered for 7+ night cruises.

The airline also has to participate.  I don't fly Southwest from there, so I don't know if they do.

Your SW flight has to be within the timeframe of 1130 & 1800 the day of departure. Luggage Valet is $29 per person. You need to sign up for it by day 2-3 to participate. Only available on cruises 7+ days. You will also receive your boarding number. Very convenient
