Anyone have a price for a taxi for 4 from the Dockyard to H20 Sports next to the Cambridge resort?

Thanks

It's about 3 miles so figure on about $16 plus tip.

Thanks, I thought it was a 20 each way. Going to offer the person who drops us off $50 for a ride back. Last time we waited 90 minutes for a cab to show up after H20 called a few times

Look into using the Bermuda Hitch app at hitch.bm. It's similar to ordering a car from Uber or Lyft or a car service.

You'll pay about 15% more than standard taxi fare but you won't need to grease the taxi driver's palm with 50 for a $20 ride. Plus the fare is charged to a credit card, something few taxis in Bermuda accept.

It's a waste of money if you are near a taxi rank in the Dockyard or at a hotel in Hamilton etc. But Hitch is a lifesaver when you want to get off the beaten path or need to come back from somewhere like this example. Added benefit is you can pay with your credit card through the app so it can also save you from having to carry around a lot of cash.
