Question for those who have been on the Liberty recently----does this ship use WOW bands to open the cabin doors?   Do only the newer ships use them?

I don't know about LIberty, but I was just on ICON and they have the WOW bands

Only ships Oasis and newer (assuming Allure will get it during her dry dock) have the technology to support Wow bands.

I would doubt Allure gets it, even with a full amp.

You gotta spend money to make money - Jason Liberty might be looking to cut costs, but RCI is probably banking on that technology to further up the on board spend.

I would think the cost and effort to replace every door lock vs revenue from WOW bands wouldn't be worth it.

Why do you say that? Oasis was switched over to RFID from magnetic swipe cards. At the time I was skeptical that they would actually change out that many locks on the ship.
