2206 Posted June 25 #1 Share Posted June 25 We will be on a Princess ship in Cabo next February. If we don’t book a Princess excursion, will we be stuck in long lines to get off the ship? Best advice for doing a whale watching excursion, through Princess or another?
CruiserBruce Posted June 25 #2 Share Posted June 25 Yes, as its a tender port, the waits could be long. There are several threads here about private whale watch vendors. Your call.
Mrgoodbar Posted September 2 #3 Share Posted September 2 Last February we saw more whales from our balcony than on the tour.
9tee2Sea Posted Friday at 02:56 PM #4 Share Posted Friday at 02:56 PM you will lots of whales form the ship ( take binoculars). Look for a bunch of small boats ( maybe 5-10) just floating around. All of sudden, you will see them all move, as fast as possible. Keep your eyes ( and binoculars ) on them, they are chasing the whales. Look for the water spot as the whales blow out air. You will most likely see the tails splashing, and if lucky, breaching. IMO, seeing the whales is the best part of the Mexican Riviera.
