Great review so far, but I wanted to comment that we never ever let any of those things out of our sight. Well, we never bring jewelry, but all the meds, 1 swimsuit/trunks and electronics are in our backpacks, and we carry them onboard ourselves. And my purse is attached to me.

what was in the carry-ons if all the important stuff was in the luggage?

She brought a few purses for dinner. And I think the shoes were all dress up shoes. The jewelry was nothing valuable. I was surprised she had packed the iPad. Her carry on was just a large pocketbook. My carry on was like yours - electronics prescriptions and swimsuit.

polishing or washing the stairway handrails.

This happens but not as frequently as during the restart; at that time, the cleaning crew were visible and wiping everything down every few hours including elevator buttons.  We tend to like to close the bars and I can attest that the major cleaning of the public areas happens when the while most of the passenger are fast asleep in their cabins asleep.  It usually starts in the Vista Lounge after the last event for the night and they slowly work their way throughout the ship.

I agree about wiping down tables.  We carry a small container of disinfecting wipes to wipe down the tables at the buffet before sitting down.

Did you notice if "Take 5" was still offering some musicians playing in the evenings?  We enjoyed it two years ago, as it was a relatively quiet and uncrowded venue.  We are going back in September and are hoping it will still be a nice music venue.

Nope. Nothing scheduled or observed. It’s been cut in half and the stage is gone. Nonsmoking casino with slots in the front. There is still a bar and seating. It was empty during the day and quiet at night.

That is really too bad. We enjoy that type of lounge and they are slowly replacing them with casinos.

It is about time for me to get in the shower and go to bed, but I just found your review, and will have to catch up with it a little later. I just booked for the 7 or possibly 8 of us to do the Enchanted Princess 10 day cruise. We did the Regal in February and everyone seemed to like it. We did get the package in February and also ordered it this time too. This way as my son said, we don't have to worry about being nickle and dimmed every time we turn around. You mentioned Fettuccine Alfredo's and it is a great restaurant to eat at.

The fettuccine Alfredo was served in the MDR.  It was a good sized portion, very rich and my grandson finished it.  It’s not something I can eat. But I have read several raves about it here and was sure he would enjoy it. We did not try any of the casual dining venues.  I would liked to have tried O’Malley’s but it’s small and was always packed. Not everyone was dining, the entertainers there were absolutely captivating and I think that’s what drew the crowd.  The pizza joint never looked full, but the sushi bar was packed any time I wanted to try it and hours seemed limited. My advice is to grab a table at the casual dining venues any time you see one available. Otherwise you will get to your final day without having eaten there and no chance for a table, especially if it’s a sea day.
