Miami Debarkation

Any insight on this would be appreciated.  We are debarking in Miami (Journey) after a Miami to Miami Caribbean cruise.  I am wondering if anyone can advise on when we can reasonably expect to be dockside, getting into our pre-arranged transfer.  We have just had our airline change our flight time to 3 hours earlier - now 1:25 pm out of Fort Lauderdale.  We anticipate grief trying to change our flight and are, therefore, wondering if we could realistically make this flight.  Thanks.

Last time we did Azamara from Miami, we left from a port very close to the Intercontinental hotel in Miami , you can find the location online.   The Port was a 5-min uber ride from the hotel, so the hotel may be a good marker (unless they change the port).

Fort Lauderdale is almost 50 to 60 min away from this area.

Assuming your flight is international, then you should be at the airport by 10:25 AM, perhaps a bit later if you have preferred status with the airline or flying business, if it's not too crowded, it's not a holiday, if you have to clear Canadian customs in Miami (is that possible?), etc.

So you could leave the port around 9:25 AM, as long as you don't encounter traffic.

Usually, you can leave the ship around 7 AM or 8 AM (does it arrive the night before?  you can probably leave much earlier).  I don't recall ever being delayed in Miami.

You should have enough time if everything works as planned.  Personally, I try to avoid risky situations.

Good news - we successfully got our airlines to switch our flight from Fort Lauderdale to Miami, late afternoon at no charge.  Thanks for the help.

That is better.  The time we disembarked Azamara in Miami we were delayed over an hour at the dock due to something at the port and seems it was very slow.
