Flying into Miami. Need to get to FLL Hotel

We’re looking at flying into Miami as there is a direct flight from the Northwest. No good flights from Portland Oregon to FLL using Alaska Miles. 
 

Question.  How easy is it to get to FLL Hotel from Miami Airport prior to cruising out of Port Everglades. 
 

? Ease of getting Uber

Uber or Lyft are easy from MIA - depending upon traffic and where your hotel is located the ride will take 30-45+ minutes.

You can also take the MIA light rail to the airport train station, and take Tri-Rail a few stops north to Ft Lauderdale Airport or the main Ft Lauderdale station, for less than $5 and runs at least every hour or more often sometimes.From there a short uber or taxi ride to your hotel.
