mattR Posted July 9 #1 Share Posted July 9 How does the 4 device login work? I'm guessing it would be easy to share logins with others from your party?
FLAlaska Posted July 9 #2 Share Posted July 9 yes. It means you can have 4 devices logged in at a time. Think of it at a time users at a time on any device they wish
cruise_critical Posted July 9 #3 Share Posted July 9 On my Royal Princess cruise about 6 months ago, I could get my kids to connect to my 4 device acess (Premier) by logging in using my account on their phone's princess app. (to get their device to be recognized as mine). Then IIRC I just logged out and got them to login using their account and the phone still had internet access. Not sure if that was how it should be done but yeah.. Another tidbit. I couldn't get the Firestick to work off the ship's wifi as the portal site that opens when you first try to connect a device to wifi (like a hotel) wouldn't work properly on the Firestick. So I used a laptop, connected it to wifi then set it up as a wifi hotspot for the firestick.
Rare cr8tiv1 Posted July 9 #4 Share Posted July 9 The only "danger" of sharing the 4 device plan is that ONLY 4 devices can be logged in at a time. If device 5 logs in, it will ask if you want to disconnect another device. No one knows who will be kicked off...no other warning.

The APP will show an identifier for each device connected, so if you have connected an IPhone, IPad, android phone, and at the Internet cafe, you ‘select’ which device you want kicked off, or ‘logout’ of one of the devices. The login credentials are the stateroom and Birthdate associated with the passenger with the 4 device plan. Edited July 9 by wallyj
Rare cr8tiv1 Posted July 9 #6 Share Posted July 9 Thank you for this added information. If devices are all over the ship, how will device 5 passenger know who to bump if the other 4 devices all say iPhone? Just making a point that If 5 devices want to be used at the same time, one has to go.
