I had my heart set on a Transatlantic and am booked on the Sun.But this is too good to pass up so I booked and managed to grab a cabana deck suite. If it doesn’t pan out, I’ll still have my Sun and lose very little as my deposit was only for a solo

As someone who goes back and forth about trying out Celebrity, I would love to hear more of what you love about celebrity? How is the vibe different?

I know some people have said theyve had issues but I have not at all. I love it. Ive had food delivered to cabin & pool decks, drinks to various places including Princess Live, always worked to unlock my door as I walked up to it. I love the medallion.

Ive been looking at Celebrity as well but truth be told, I love the Medallion and app(ive never had issues with it) and I love my Enclave. Celebrity doesn't have those. So I booked the Sky and Sun, just deciding which one to keep. I really wanted to depart From Southampton to Port Ever(live 20 minutes from there). Sky goes to Port Canaveral and Sun leaves from Barcelona. I won't book the Star, too new at that point.

They posted the Oct 4th 11 day Inaugural and Oct 22 Transatlantic but both are showing Sold Out.. which I doubt as they weren't sold out when they took them down.

Mine says sanctuary class indicator as well., Sun Jan 25th S9. No sign for Premier. My C1 TA says Grandfathered Cabana Indicator If they are giving the MInis the Sanctuary update, they should have given the Suites at least a Plus upgrade.

One of the biggest oversight, IMO, with the Sphere class, is that there is no adult only area for non Sanctuary guests. Seems like a big fail.

I had a call from Princess yesterday . They told me that the dining had still not been fully rolled out. and there was still more to come on that. Go figure...

They are removing the reserve from the C1 and C2 for future bookings. Existing bookings are being grandfathered in so you can still use the Reserve dining rooms. But all future C1 and C2 will just be regular mini suites.

Ive never cruised Celebrity but even though they have the Retreat,they managed to keep the Solarium which is adult only and open to all. Princess on the Sphere , has eliminated all adult only areas for non sanctuary customers.

True but for those that had already booked, they paid for it. They are removing it without compensation and giving it to M1 who previously booked ,fo free. It also means that in the future, there is no adult only section available to those that don’t pay these ridiculous prices that really don’t justify the fact by simply adding the premier package. they are adding kids areas, taking away adult only areas. At least on Celebrity you have the solarium.

Suite always had access to the entire area, but there was a small area that was exclusive to suite guests. An offering that suite guests paid a premium for.

Right. im in a S9 solo. Paid $4717 no package. Add $560 for the premier and it’s $5277. Booked today $8,051. Transatlantic on Sun booked in a C1. Price has stayed the same but if booked today, reserve dining is removed

Yes.that is it exactly. The Sanctuary is no longer available for day passes. It is o ly for those in sanctuary class cabins. The Sun will have no adult only area available for other passengers, paid or included in their fare.
