Shopping area near the port in FLL?

Just wondering if there is a shopping area or restaurants near the port?  We have an early morning flight arrival for a Celebrity cruise and was hoping there was something to do to fill the time in until we can board?  Probably will just uber from the airport.  Also, we love Bubba Gumps and was wondering if it is located in close proximity to the port if we were to stop there for an early lunch?

People will chime in with what is near the port but I would pull up google maps and zoom in on the area.  It will give you a good idea of what is around. Your main issue will be what to do with your luggage.

There is a large shopping center with a grocery store, Total Wine, and various retail establishments about 8 minutes walk west of Port Everglades on 17th Street. There are more stores across 17th Street.

 

Bubba Gump's is on Fort Lauderdale beach,  about a 7 minute ride from the above-mentioned shopping areas.

 

The shopping areas mentioned above are an 11 minute ride from the Fort Lauderdale airport.

 

I lived just north of the shopping centers for 22 years and went by the airport pretty much every day for over 10 years.

It is called The Harbor Shops off 17th. street about 2 miles from the airport, then 1/2 mile to the port. There is some shopping across the street also from the Harbor Shops. Plenty of food in the area. Duffy's sports bar is in the Harbor shops and has 2 for 1 drinks all day every day, with good food also.
