Celebrity Blue Chip Casino Club - Free cruise offers

I use the "Blue Chip Club" Free Cruise offers website.  I also receive snail mail.  I am interested in the Ascent for this coming January 2025.  A year ago, I held out until October & got Apex free for January.  Apex is already sold out for the free offers this year & hoping for Ascent.  A few questions:

 

1) Any idea how often they update those offers, or is it just random?

2) If i see an offer I want, should I book on-line or call?  What if it is the weekend?  The call hours appear to be Mon-Fri. 

3) The "Redeem" form on-line has no where to choose a cabin number.  ??

 

I prefer inside, center ship, Level 11, unless of course they offer me higher than an inside. Thanks for any info!  Kris

The good sailings run out of casino-allotted rooms quickly, therefore, it's best to check your offers once a day.  It only takes seconds.  When I called about an Apex sailing minutes after receiving the offer email, it already run out of casino-allotted rooms.  The Rep told me if I want an E-Class sailing then I need to check the offer website every day and if I see one I like, I need to call ASAP.  Every sailing can have a different amount of casino-allotted rooms

1)  There doesn't seem to be any sort of schedule and it's somewhat based on your play

2)  Call as it's the only way to pick the exact sailing and a room, they are open on the weekend

3)  Again just call, get immediately booked before they potentially run out of good sailings and you can choose your cabin number

Thanks for that info!  I do look many times a day 🙂  Just curious....do you think the offer for a certain sailing gets released to everyone at the same time or sooner for bigger rollers than me LOL?

Nice!  I don't know, I'm not sure if the casino allotted rooms are allotted per sailing which ignores the room type (for example, 100 staterooms) or by room type (25 insides, 25 OVs, and 25 balconies, 25 AQ)

I talked to a buddy, he says he's 100% sure it's by room type as he shared he wanted an inside room on a recent offer, called the rep who said they were all of the insides through the casino but he could book a casino OV by only paying the delta between an inside to an OV.  He confirmed you could still book insides on that sailing but just not through the casino

In my experience you can usually pay to upgrade to a better cabin. I have booked a cruise for next March which offered me a balcony cabin. The positions of those available didn't suit me as I like midship and I got a concierge (c2) midship for $526 but as my wife had a $300 award for her play we had to pay $226 for the upgradr plus of course taxes and port fees which you have to pay anyway.

We have a complimentary cruise next month on the Infinity and if I manage to get another cruise offer I will try to make the March cruise back to back.

My first July offer included the Ascent in January 2025. 1/5, 1/12 and 1/26. It also had the Apex 1/25. So you maybe have a chance of seeing it on yours eventually. I always call to book. You can get the cabin you want or find out about upgrading etc...

As soon as you see it, you need to book it. I’ve sailed Beyond, Ascent and now Apex all Bcc comped. Only going because of my daughter, or I would have sailed on the older ships! We prefer them over the edge series! Either way, enjoy!

I think part of the confusion is you can instantly book a non-comped cruise on X's website and some cruise lines like Carnival have allowed online casino bookings for years.  When someone sees the BCC "online" option, they don't realize it's a request form

That's what you have to do, check the website every day, can't wait to receive the email or snail mail
