  2. Anyone have any ideas on Deck 9 in the front of the ship. Leaving Monday on Beyond. Checking for snap crackle and popping!
  3. Great review of your cruise. Really enjoying it. We will be on Beyond Monday. One quick question? I’m hearing many saying this ship snap crackle and pops. Is this happening in certain areas? We are in the front of the ship deck 9. Not sure if we will experience this or not. Any info will be greatly appreciated…

  7. We did after she said they refunded. We didn’t know anything about a refund. Caught us off guard and then said they didn’t want to cancel the cruise. Threatening us with cancellation when none of this was our fault.
  8. New issue! We are cruising on Beyond in a couple weeks. Just got off Reflection a few weeks back had the issue with an over charge on our booking after we left the ship. 45 minutes on the phone and finally got it straightened out. Fast forward to today.. Got an email from Celebrity on our upcoming Beyond cruise that there was a balance due. We paid it in full September of 2023. There was no explanation of why the balance was due or what it was for. Called Customer Service again on this issue. First customer service lady was super confusing of what the issue was. Asked for Supervisor. She came on and turns out they said we owed $39 and threatened to cancel cruise if we didn’t pay. She explained our cruise care went down $30 they screwed up refunded $69 to our credit card. So difference was $39. So another 45 minutes with this issue. Nothing was explained in their email. We said these 2 issues none of which our fault has cost us almost 2 hours of our time not to mention 2 hours of Celebrity Cruises customer service time. Seriously Celebrity.. Caught us totally out of the blue…. Who can you write to that someone will actually read it. What would you do? I know we will pay $39.. but seriously she offers a bottle of Celebritys wine and chocolate covered strawberry’s. No thanks… Our time is worth more than that…
  9. This coming cruise on Beyond will be our first trip to the new Coco Cay private island. I think you would be happier with your own snorkeling equipment but you can rent it on the island. This may have been covered but with your Celebrity sea pass card can you get free food and snacks? We understand you have to buy drinks if you don’t have a drink package. Any help would be appreciated.
  10. We just got off Reflection a week ago. Our room steward greeted us right away the first day and was super friendly. We had so many requests, a bucket of ice at 3 pm. That was it. He struggled with this sometimes bringing ice at 1pm or 2pm. So by the time we wanted it for a drink at 3:30 or 4 the ice was melted down to an handful of ice. Not even enough for 2 small drinks. Sometimes he didn’t bring ice at all so we had to call time after time. He vanished the last 2 days. Never seen him again. Not sure who was cleaning the room we just never cross paths with him again. Not the standard of Celebrity service we are used to. We had one request and that was it.

  13. Just to say we got the email with that statement AFTER we were on our way home from the cruise. Wasn’t like that when we checked the last evening. We had zero balance while on board the day before getting off the ship. All good. Although we did spend 40 minutes on the phone with customer service to straighten out.
  14. Thanks it was so difficult to describe cause it was so difficult to figure out. Im not sure how cruisers do it with 50 items on their statement we only had 6. Our last 5 Celebrity cruises billing was perfect…
  15. I agree with BOB999. Do a mock booking and they inflate the price of cruiser #1 then it’s 75% off of that for cruiser #2. Just a numbers thing. Celebrity’s good at that.. Flash Sale! Flash Sale…
  16. One more! Is whats currently the menu on the app the same as when you board? Or is the current menu just a generic one for now?

  18. Ok we are boarding Beyond on April 22. We are not doing Specialty dining on the 4 main dining rooms. I looked at our reservation and we have CEL Select Dining. So…do we need reservations for our desired time of 7:15? Wait till we board? Do it ahead of time online? confirm once on board? Any help would be appreciated.

  20. Why would anyone ever start a thread like this? If you are getting more and bartenders are generous why bring this to light. All bartenders are not the same. Be happy and if you have a problem with the quantity move on to the next bar. Don’t destroy the generosity of the Celebrity bar tenders for others. They will be back to measuring with a shot glass.
  21. Tyler414, Thanks for the very informative review. Excellent detailed information. We are on a Beyond in a couple weeks. We were on Beyond last April and there was a female bartender at the Martini bar that was just getting her feet under her. Kind of shy and timid but really tried hard. We tipped and complimented her on how great of a job she was doing making us drinks. Even ran into the bar hostess manager and said she is doing such a great job. I just can’t remember her name. Now I just looked on YouTube and seen this shy timid bartender standing on the bar pouring a martini flight with no shyness at all. It was so was nice to see her come out of her shell so to speak. Hopefully she will still be there in a few weeks. Do you remember the names of any Martini Bartenders? Thanks again for the info!
  22. Resolved! Celebrity quickly within 2 days resolved the issue with a thorough email explaining and clearing this up. The issue was what looked to be a charge with code OBR-cruise air/port tax free credit of $104. They did not say anywhere that this was a refund for port and taxes because we couldn’t dock in Bimini. The $72 refundable OBC. Both dollar fiquires were in a gray highlighted box which was entitled Payments with our credit card # next to it. Who would not have thought that these were not charges. I am getting better at deciphering Celebritys codes but why do they have to be so confusing.
  23. Cruising on Beyond in a few weeks just got off Reflection using our Elite status for Captains Club Breakfast. Was nice to get a coffee there or a Bloody Mary. As far as 5-7 Happy hour that was excellent too at the Martini Bar. Can I expect the Martini Bar on Beyond to have the 5-7 Happy Hour? It seemed that all bars honored it except WCB. We got the sheet upon arrival on Reflection listing bars but WCB was the only one we couldn’t go to. Any help would be appreciated.
