There was in 2018, but not sure if they still do it. Plan to be back onboard in March so we will see.

There was fending on QE in June.

Fencing? Is there still fencing?

On one of the very recent Queen Anne threads the couple who were on for 50+ days tried  fencing.

My very amatuerish effort! A watercolour of a photo I took.

Usually, I confine my efforts to the Art Classes on whichever ship I'm on. e.g:

I love these!! I was thinking about taking the watercolor classes in our upcoming cruise in two weeks. The time got away from me on our last one. So I can bring my own brushes & paints? Do they provide the watercolor paper?

I love all these pictures!  Thank you so much, everyone!

I can’t imagine going on a World Cruise.  I have enough difficulty leaving my two little furry boys (both Havanese) for a week.  I can’t even imagine what I’m going to do for the three week voyage I’ve booked for 2026.  But many long lasting friendships must be forged on those long cruises.

We fly relatives in from Scotland if we're away for more than 2 or 3 days. Our girls don't need walks, which makes things much easier. They cope with having a neighbour visit twice daily for a day or two, but wouldn't appreciate the lack of company for any longer.

My great-grandfather, sitting in his cabin on HMS Caronia (as she was at the time), and playing with his camera. Proof that selfies really aren't a modern phenomenon!

He had a port hole! He must have been a man of great importance.

This may have been asked before, but he looks like a chef. Was he? Nice cabin!

Your poor long-suffering relatives. I can just imagine how the  conversation goes: "Can you pop down to the Cote d'Azur to watch ..." (doorbell rings)

Yes it's free if you bring your own brushes paints and pad. Otherwise you have to buy the full kit. Last year it was $35.

He was. Worked his way up from 4th cook, and Caronia was his first gig as head chef. He went on to be head chef on the Queens, but he'd given up on photography by then, unfortunately!

There was fencing on Queen Anne this morning. I'd half-planned to go but couldn't make myself move from the spa!
