I leave for Portugal on September 19th,  Porto, Tomar, Evora and Lisbon. If you have any recommendations for restaurants, please let me know. We are doing a tour with Gate 1 but have time for ourselves too. I was in Lisbon 9 years ago only for a couple of nights on my way to a Spain trip but thought it was so beautiful and wanted to go back. I only hope that it cools off by then as I have an autoimmune disease and heat is not my friend.

Live music starts here at 11. And people are funny. Coming in asking all the questions. What time should we come back for a good table, etc. Bartender said “we are open now”. I said what are you Google?! Like she can predict the crowd.

Bartender is from Cuba. We are talking about all the things people come in and ask. They ask for food. They ask for mojitos, margaritas, etc. this is not that bar. They ask to salsa in the Harlem jazz club.
