Catalina was great fun. The weather was perfect! Descanzo’s Beach Club was the perfect place to be. All chairs and cabanas were sold out. Luckily we had a reservation. You reserve online. Tkme for us to pack and get ready to head off the ship tomorrow morning. We all had a great time and enjoyed the staff, our suite, the weather and spending time with each other.

Just catching up…you gotta love a quick getaway cruise.  I was envious of your winery visits. Good wine and a cheese board…yummmmm.

We ate breakfast at 7:30 AM. The suite breakfast on departure day runs from 7 AM to 8:30 AM. They ask that suite pax vacate cabins by 8:30AM. Other pax are asked to vacate cabins by 8:00 AM. 
 

We went back to our cabin to gather our carryon luggage and met the concierge at Schooner’s. We were off the ship in less than 5 min. In the terminal we grabbed our luggage and a porter and were in our car by 9:10 AM. Easy peasy.

Thanks, yes always too fast. Anything under 10 days is too short for me😂. It was a nice celebratory getaway for my daughter and I. I really enjoy the Navigator. It is a good size - not too small and not too big.  On this cruise I thought that the staff were really spectacular. Everyone was happy, personable and fun. Hopefully we can jump aboard another 3 or 4 day in the future. Now it is back to school for the DD and back to helping take care of my dad. I drive to Vegas Tuesday to stay with him for three+ weeks. 

 

I am a little worried about being away all month in October. We have two cruises booked. Both were rebooked from canceled cruises. The first is on the NCL Epic followed by my first Virgin cruise on Scarlett Lady. I know my brother will be caring for dad but a month is a long time to be away. Anyway, thanks for following along. 🤗

We will be onboard sooner than you , @Sea Dog.  It is an enjoyable ride being not too small and not too large. I would say the main difference is fewer restaurants than you’ll find on Wonder and no pre-booking  of shows which is a big plus for me. And , of course, there’s that special bar . Hope , you are feeling better.

Cool. I’ll be disembarking the Epic then getting ready for a 5-day stay in Italy before boarding the Scarlet Lady. I’ll def follow your cruise!
