Eeek roller coasters sound scary bit the rest sounds exciting.

No, casino was still not quite coming around but it was trying. Ended up cashing out and leaving before they could kick me out, try again tomorrow.

We enjoyed our Safari. We saw Simba, Nala, Pumbaa but not Timon, a very young baby elephant, rhinos 🦏, giraffes 🦒 and quite a few other members of the Animal Kingdom.

Roller coasters are fun! Well, maybe with a few exceptions!

Casinos on the other hand are scary, at least to me.

DH had his cataracts removed a few years ago. The surgeries on both of his eyes went very well. He had no problems at all with either. Our plan for surgery day was to go to the surgery center, get cataracts removed, go out to breakfast, go home and take a nap. It was a good plan. 😀

I did a very enjoyable snorkeling excursion in Nassau this past May when we were on Allure. We dove on a massive statue, Ocean Atlas. The sculpture depicts a Bahamian woman in the role of Atlas who is holding up the ocean like the traditional Atlas holds up the world. The stingrays were pretty cool, too!

Oh my, roller coasters and snorkeling. Quite the adventurer, I bet you could tackle the casino!

Glad Scar did not make an appearance, I hear he is trouble.

Sigh. Yeah I like the idea but the turnout just seems to always ruin it.

There is no accounting for some of the seat choices that RCI has made. On Q class ships some of the seating in Two70 is terrible. The balcony chairs on Allure greatly reduced my time out there. I think whoever it is that makes the decisions is more into looks than function.

It is common to have uncomfortable chairs in venues where they want a quick turnover, but how can that apply to your balcony? Oh, I know, they want you out and about doing something revenue earning. 😀

Well, I’ve been here for a couple of days, but I guess I forgot to advertise that.😜

I’m a casino person also. Was on HAL Volendam last month and did nothing in the casino. Played bingo once and actually won on the blackout. $697. That helped.

Always enjoy following your reviews. Have fun. And wow really doing well with the weight control.

And oh yeah, no cataracts yet for me. Hope Mom will do well.

Good morning everyone from a sea day on the way to (maybe?) Grand Cayman. We have set our clocks back on hour and it is now just after 10AM.

I have been amazed how smooth the ride has been so far. Even though we don't travel very fast to reach the Bahamas, typically at least right off the coast of Florida you can feel the movement.

Nothing, not once, not even a little. For me anyway, I did hear somebody last night commenting that somebody in their group was sea sick again. I won't judge, it always affects me differently and sometime I am fine, and sometimes the slightest movement has me reaching for medicine.

This morning upon standing up I was presented with a new sensation. What's this? I feel the motion. I was starting to forget I was on the water. I am debating taking a pill as a precaution.

Cheers with an Officer is at 11:45. I did not get the paperwork for it so I made a stop at Guest Services last night. I think he wanted to test me as he asked about my day and then asked if it was my first time in Nassau. No sir, if I am asking about Cheers with an Officer this is most definitely not my first time in Nassau 🙂

I wish I had made it out a little later to check on the turnout when it was the de facto night club. I was just a little too well hydrated and enjoying the pub to check it out. Maybe Utopia will be more alive? World's Biggest Weekend and all?

I would agree with that logic, but the Pub and Giovani's are both revenue earning and the seating has been bad. Always bad in the Pub and every ship I have gone on but then they are going for the pub aesthetic which is apparently hard wooden chairs.

Meanwhile the library has very comfortable chairs, and cushions which I may borrow and take to the pub next time. No revenue to be had there and little revenue from the Viking Crown Lounge which has great seats and a view.

I can't speak to the balcony, I have a cave and it is quite cozy 🙂

Welcome! I did bingo on my first back and won! It was nothing big, I think around $300 but it was exciting to win. I have never played again just because I understand the odds of winning bingo are astronomically small. It is a good way to kill some time when the casino is not playing fair though!

Thanks for following along again and for the kind words for me and for mom!
