Freedom! Live From The Freedom of the Seas 8/11-18, 2024

That's gonna do it for me for this evening.

Back in the cold chamber and turning in for the night.

Tomorrow is Falmouth, and that will be a stay on the ship day for me.

Good night everyone and thanks for following along!

Goodnight and Good Morning.

I have so far avoided this topic, hoping it might somehow occur naturally, but you are already half way through and it hasn’t. So, what is the pineapple situation?? All in the cause of broadening my knowledge, of course. We Cunard passengers lead such sheltered lives.

When I was on Freedom a few months ago, they had White Claw at the Lime and Coconut, which is the pool bar(s) on Freedom.

Thank you!

Good morning everyone.

Today is Falmouth, Jamaica. Lots of people are excited for their port stop today. I assume they have never been. Let's hope the ship does not take on a funny smell tonight, so far that has not been an issue.

Darla asked me for a request last night and I told her I didn't want to give her homework. No pub singer has ever known my favorite artist but she insisted and she confirmed she didn't know him. Then she said wait does he sing such and such and I'm like yea! She is going to download it and sing it tonight I am excited for some Conway Twitty tonight!

Less exciting is the casino. I wanted to play for Utopia but that dream has died. Plan B is to play for Liberty which is still a nice ship. I am moving on to Plan C I think and see a cruise on the Grandeur in my future 😮

This was posted in the roll call for our sailing.

Note the British spelling of socialising in the answer.

Well, fancy that. The UK spelling is worrying. Another thing I was actually going to ask is the proportion of non-US passengers.

There is a large number (relatively speaking) of British onboard. Gosh quite a journey for what I would consider a middle of the road itinerary.

Other than that, it's the typical mix of mostly North Americans with a few from South American countries.

And a long way to go for a week - or perhaps it is part of a longer trip. It also seems a strange time of year to pick, as the weather here is warm.

Yuck +5.8 how obscene and clearly something was wrong with the reading yesterday.

Equally there could be something wrong with today’s, or both.

With us being docked I think it is more likely that it was wrong yesterday when the scale was moving 😞
